Aaron "Dak" Schmidt
Dak, the wild member of Donkey Talk who also goes by the name Evelyn. Dak loves playing video games more than anything else. Through this they have honed the acting skills and the creative abilty they have today. Full of energy, Dak is always moving, and has been described as being
kinetic energy itself. |
Dak prefers comedy theatre, and is always willing to do the funny stuff, and be the "Dak-doll". Anything if it makes the audience fall off their seats with laughter.Dak does appreciate when a skit the troupe does is not only funny, but makes people
think about a message that may have been portrayed. They particularly enjoy anything
that defies stereotypes and standards, and sometimes will go to great lengths to
point out inner controversies and make people think about things they take for
granted.
Currently Dak works at a pool store, making some money for the future. Ultimately,
they wish to carry on their dream in the video game industry, and works nearly every
night on a video game that has existed since their freshman year of highschool. If
there is anything you could say Dak is passionate about, it would be this game.

Rich Lashua
Rich is a graduate of the University of
California, Santa Barbara, where he studied Dramatic Art. He loves Jesus, working with kids, and has constantly enjoyed performing in many arenas, including (but not limited to) drumming (marching percussion, drumset, and anything resembling Carter Beauford or |
Mike Portnoy), acting in all its comedic and tragic forms with the distinct exception of really cheezy Christian theater, singing (it's all about the Vocal Jam!), and dance (be it ballet, modern, hip hop, swing, or ballroom). He's also a big fan of speaking parenthetically with gratuitously long sentences full of unneccesarily big words.
Rich founded Donkey Talk Productions with Karl and Jennifer Hauser in the hopes of synthesizing these elements in a
worship setting. (Except for the long sentences part...) In his spare time...er..."real job" he is the Youth and Family Ministries Director at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Santa
Barbara and a substitute teacher for the Santa Barbara School Districts. |
